At Llopartec we join good causes, thus we have become collaborating partners of the Fundació Pasqual Maragall.
We are part of a solidarity project to fight against one of the most challenging diseases in our today’s society: Alzheimer's, a neurodegenerative disease, which is the main cause of dementia in people over 65 years.
According to the information provided by Sociedad Española de Neurología (SEN), some 800,000 people in Spain suffer from this neurological disease.
The Fundació Pasqual Maragall was created in April 2008 with the aim of promoting and supporting scientific research in the field of Alzheimer's. From the foundation they work for the prevention and early detection of the disease through research, in addition they provide improvements for the quality of life of patients, their families and caregivers.
